In October, our shoe modeler Sonja Arians participated in a certificate course for sustainability managers for the shoe, leather goods and textile industry of the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and successfully completed it.

This course comprised 80 hours of instruction and was conducted in cooperation with the ISC International Shoe Competence Center Pirmasens gGmbH.

Course content included international conventions and legal frameworks for sustainability. Transparency and management of global supply chains. Risk management for social standards, environmental protection and toxicology. Sustainability strategy and communication.
