Meet Team Baak

I live in the countryside with my wife Charlotte and our dog Teddy.
I’m an optimist, more of a generalist than a specialist, and I’m passionate about many things, including IT, new ways of working, communication, and philosophy. Personal growth is very important to me.

The longing to travel didn't stop after Charlotte and I quit our jobs in March 2020 and we set off to travel Europe in a converted bus.

Today, I can bring my idea of quality of life into my everyday work at Baak. A strict separation is not desirable for me. Instead, I want to convey how work and life can be integrated into everyday life. That's what I try to exemplify. Sometimes I succeed more, sometimes less ;-).

I accompany Baak as a strategic companion. People are particularly close to my heart. My sources of energy are: my family and friends, our dog Happy, good conversations and books. Apart from that, I prefer to be out in nature and love the mountains.

As the brand manager for Baak Dogwalker, my connection to dogs goes far beyond just my job. Our dog Teddy is always by my side, both at home and during my workday at Baak, and my husband Christian and I love going on nice walks together. I’m a very outgoing and sociable person, and I always tackle my tasks with lots of energy—whether I’m planning new campaigns or working on the creative development of our brand. My other passions include cooking, yoga, and languages.

As Head of Sales & Marketing, I oversee both sales and marketing. For me, people are always the focus. I see my primary responsibility as developing and motivating my team to achieve our shared goals and drive the company forward with joy and passion. To fulfill this role, I spend a lot of time reflecting on myself and work daily on my personal development. In addition, I lead a healthy lifestyle, enjoy sports, spend time in nature, and surround myself with people who are good for me and inspire me.

I am a passionate regional sales manager in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Talking to people is my passion. And if I can use it to raise awareness for a healthier life, I'll do it true to the motto: hand in hand, together! I find peace and quiet while fishing in nature.

I am the area manager for Northern Bavaria, Switzerland and Portugal.
In my free time, I am passionate about getting to know different cultures and countries. This passion not only gives me new perspectives, but also enriches my work. I am also a big motorsport fan and enjoy the fascination and adrenaline rush that this sport brings.

With a passion for quality and safety, I am your contact for all topics relating to our safety shoes in southern Bavaria. As an area manager, direct contact with our customers is particularly important to me - because solutions can only be created through genuine exchange. Outside of work, my heart beats for everything to do with motorcycles - whether on tour or tinkering in the garage.

I am at home in the Ruhr area and look after Baak partners and dealers in the greater NRW area. I feel at home in the Baak team. So I go home with a good feeling.

I am Key Account Manager NRW/NS. I particularly like the Baak team spirit. Our partners also feel this, and they often become good friends! I live out my creativity in the product committee, which is a lot of fun. I learn a lot about production processes and ways to further develop shoes. In my free time, I like to cook and go fishing.

I look after the area from OWL to the Harz mountains and northern Hesse. At Baak, I am responsible for the distribution of our health-preserving safety shoes in Berlin and the new federal states. In my private life, I enjoy traveling and am passionate about rearing koi.

I am the regional manager for Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and Bremen. I particularly appreciate the close-knit atmosphere, the willingness to help one another, and a philosophy that is not just preached but truly put into practice: humanity, health, and personal growth. In my free time, I enjoy casual fishing, as well as soccer and handball. I am also actively involved in my local club.

I have been active for 40 years in the field of law enforcement in the Netherlands and Belgium. Thinking innovatively and focusing on practical solutions are the key to me being able to advise my clients with enthusiasm every day and to show them how they can be successful in the market. As Technical Director of Baak, I have turned my passion into my profession. I have been able to realize my ideas and turn them into technologies for many years. The fact that I can travel a lot and work with people from different cultures has not only contributed to my development as a technician, but also to my development as a person. Apart from the history of antiquity, the best time for me is the time I can spend with my two children and my partner.

In technical product management, I accompany our safety shoes from the idea to market maturity. The focus is on functionality, innovation and health. For me, the values of "human, healthy & development" are the standard for every new product that we develop.

With a solid background as a shoe patternmaker, office management specialist, and certified sustainability manager, I am responsible for product development and the strategic direction of sustainability at Baak.
My goal is to combine thoughtful design with ergonomic functionality and health benefits. In doing so, it is important to me to work with calm, focus, and perseverance on solutions that go beyond short-term trends. Good products are not created in a rush—they require attention, a clear goal, and a willingness to scrutinize every detail.

I have been a passionate orthopaedic shoe technician for over 30 years. I enjoy giving people a better walking experience. At BAAK, I use my orthopaedic expertise to answer questions about anatomy, foot health and the further development of our products. I also focus on people in my private life: as a certified hypnosis coach, I help people to gain new perspectives and find their way back into life.

I have been part of the Baak team for many years and contribute my experience and diligence to the quality control of our incoming goods and returns management on a daily basis. I really appreciate the varied work and the cooperation with my colleagues - and the trust that is placed in me.
In my free time, I like to be active - whether it's playing table tennis, cycling or spending time with my family.

I work at Baak as an order picker; I am hard-working, helpful and a fun guy. My private passion is our well-tended garden. Family is very important to me, so I like to spend a lot of time with my wife and daughter. Of course, I also love our cat.

I am responsible for outgoing goods. In order picking and dispatch, I make sure that every order leaves our warehouse quickly and reliably. I enjoy working in a team and like the fact that Baak focuses on people. In my free time, I like to do sport.

In the warehouse, I make sure that our products reach our customers safely and on time. Teamwork and reliability are our top priorities. Our corporate values can also be felt in our day-to-day warehouse work - and that makes all the difference for me.

I am mainly responsible for incoming goods. I make sure that all deliveries arrive correctly and in full. This requires diligence - and good teamwork. Just the way it is practiced at BAAK.

I feel really at home in the Baak team. I particularly enjoy the team spirit and the good atmosphere with my colleagues every day. My colleagues and I wear our safety shoes every day at work in the warehouse and we feel very comfortable in them.

At Baak, I am responsible for IT and help out in the team when the shoe pinches somewhere. I appreciate the good teamwork and the values that Baak stands for.
